Well I am just processing my photos from todays trip to the Yarrangobilly Caves in the Kosciuszko National Park.. Freezing cold despite the burning hot 40c outside the caves..

Down at the docklands today to check out the winch king competition. Basically they have a very high speed winch which pulls a tow rope.. It pulls along a large pool up and over a jump ramp and rail, and then they drop into another pool of water on the other side…

Yesterday was Australia Day so I thought heading to the Southern Star Observation Wheel for the fireworks there would be a good change (from the city fireworks).
Big mistake, the fireworks were very small and it was impossible (at least from where I was set up) to get a good looking shot of the wheel and the fireworks in one. The fireworks where going off very low, barely half the height of the wheel itself..

Yesterday James and I went for a quick walk around the city (Melbourne)… I have a couple of shots I am adding to the Urban gallery and also a new gallery I will start called “Transport”.. But just to start with I have added two new images to the B&W gallery (indian and scooter), the later one is shown below…
